same old same
nothing new
it’s not a lie but it’s a mile from the truth
how would you know
how could you tell
when i’m laughing more than anybody else
it could be harder
it could be worse
i’m fine, i’m alright
just cracking on
yeah my world’s falling apart
and i’m finding life so hard
but i’ll tell you once again i’m alright
i should leave
i better go
cos i’m uncomfortable and everybody knows except they don’t
how could they care
i wanna scream i wanna cry but i don’t dare
it’s getting harder
it’s getting worse
i’m fine, i’m alright
just cracking on
yeah my world’s falling apart
and i’m finding life so hard
but i’ll tell you once again i’m alright
and you’re there with open arms
but i still put up my guard as i tell you once again i’m alright
we’re so close and yet so far
and i’m breaking my own heart
when i tell you once again
i’m alright
and you’re there with open arms
but i still put up my guard as I tell you once again when you ask me I pretend
yes i’ll tell you once again
i’m alright
Absolutely incredible! This is what I call Lexie Rock! It is her own sound and I love every beat and every lyric. The video is awesome as well. I am so proud to be one of her longtime fans. I just don't understand why there isn't millions of us. I have been around for awhile and have listened to all kinds of music, but very few artist have touched my heart like Lexie has. I will keep all my limbs crossed hoping that they will find her one day. 🐏❤️🐏⭐🌜 Brad Leal
Really dig this album! They're every kind of relatable, and every one is awesome. Extra true for Don't Be so Hard on Yourself, because we all gotta cut ourselves some slack more often. blujacket
did i listen to any of the singles that came out before this album? no. was this was a sucker punch in the gut, but I'm still thanking her for it? yes. swiniii

I love Violet. I love that Lexie wrote Violet for her friend and empathises with her. I've had (and have) my own struggles and I identify with this song so much. itsdickie
